Lightning Protection Installer

Estimator

Argyle, TX

Bonded is searching for a new team member to enhance our Estimating Team! The right person enjoys being a part of the team and in a fast-paced work, deadline-driven environment. This position focuses on estimating and proposals for lightning protection and grounding system installation. If this interests you, call us today.

Responsibilities include:

  • Collaborate with Team Bonded to furnish customers and field with complete estimating lightning protection and grounding systems
  • Researches project scope of work, specifications, layouts and architectural, structural and electrical plans, previous proposals and/or develop a concept for design.
  • Coordinate with vendors on special products and pricing for estimates in a timely manner
  • Prepares written proposal/quotes with scope of work for customer
  • Training and knowledge of Company products, procedures, and lightning protection industry standards; NFPA 780, UL 96A, LPI 175
  • Documents and data entries all estimating itemized materials, equipment and clear scope of work, how project is estimated and general specification/layout project requirements

Requirements:

  • Pass a criminal background check, drug screen, and MVR
  • Maintain drug free culture
  • Customer service experience
  • Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
  • Associates degree with 2+ years related experience and/or training preferred; or equivalent combination of training and experience
  • Ability to work within a fast paced environment with large quantities of projects
  • Knowledge/experience in BlueBeam software for estimating with plans, Google earth, photos, etc.

Designer

Argyle, TX

Bonded is searching for a new team member to enhance our design Team! The right person enjoys being a part of the team and in a fast-paced work, deadline-driven environment. This position focuses developing design for the installation of lightning protection and grounding systems. If this interests you, call us today.

Responsibilities include:

  • Reforms all duties responsibilities according to the mission and core values of the company.
  • Ability to read, blueprints, specifications, narratives, details, etc. For navigating and researching projects.
  • Knowledge of UL96A, NFPA780 and LPI175 standards.
  • Research projects scope of work, specifications, layouts, and architectural, structural, and electrical plans to develop a design for the installation and approval of lightning protection and grounding systems.
  • Apply standards and specifications to structure for lightning protection and grounding designs.
  • Prepare final as-built drawings from field installation redlines.
  • Coordinate with Project Coordinators and Division Manager on specific project design questions.
  • Check/Review/Revise drawings as needed.
  • Draft roof of structures from drawings in Revit and AutoCAD format.
  • Occasionally produce roof plans from building elevations, Google maps, floor plans, etc.
  • Pull design details from Auto-CAD central library.
  • Modify/create details based on what is needed for design.
  • Create bill of material and final product of design.
  • Knowledge of company products, company procedures and industry standards.
  • Ability to work as a team.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, deadline driven environment.
  • Ability to make decisions on designs.

Requirements:

  • Pass a criminal background check & drug screen
  • Customer service experience
  • Possesses excellent communication skills (oral and written)
  • Fluent in English with the ability to read and write
  • Ability to manage a fast paced position with large quantities of bids/estimates to coordinate
  • Working knowledge of a Rivet, AutoCAD, Blue Beam, windows software (Outlook, word and Excel), Internet software; project management software
  • Associates degree (A.A) preferred with one to two years related experience; or equivalent administrative experience in the industry
