Estimator

Argyle, TX

Bonded is searching for a new team member to enhance our Estimating Team! The right person enjoys being a part of the team and in a fast-paced work, deadline-driven environment. This position focuses on estimating and proposals for lightning protection and grounding system installation. If this interests you, call us today.

Responsibilities include:

  • Collaborate with Team Bonded to furnish customers and field with complete estimating lightning protection and grounding systems
  • Researches project scope of work, specifications, layouts and architectural, structural and electrical plans, previous proposals and/or develop a concept for design.
  • Coordinate with vendors on special products and pricing for estimates in a timely manner
  • Prepares written proposal/quotes with scope of work for customer
  • Training and knowledge of Company products, procedures, and lightning protection industry standards; NFPA 780, UL 96A, LPI 175
  • Documents and data entries all estimating itemized materials, equipment and clear scope of work, how project is estimated and general specification/layout project requirements

Requirements:

  • Pass a criminal background check, drug screen, and MVR
  • Maintain drug free culture
  • Customer service experience
  • Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
  • Associates degree with 2+ years related experience and/or training preferred; or equivalent combination of training and experience
  • Ability to work within a fast paced environment with large quantities of projects
  • Knowledge/experience in BlueBeam software for estimating with plans, Google earth, photos, etc.

PreConstruction Servces

Houston & Argyle, TX

Bonded is searching for a new team member to enhance our PreConstruction Team in the Houston & DFW area! Responsibilities include:

  • Actively promote Bonded/allG and the need for lightning protection services
  • Work with other departments within the company to furnish the customer with a complete estimate package
  • Perform regular sales calls and cold calls to new and existing owners, homeowners, and contractors
  • Perform customer relations and networking during regular work and non-work hours
  • Consult with customers, vendors, and other individuals to discuss and formulate the scope of work on estimates. Negotiate and receive authorization on projects
  • Provide improvement recommendations for estimating procedures, customer relations, sales follow-up processes, and competitor markets
  • Identify cost trends and communicate to management
  • Present Lightning Safety Awareness programs
  • Perform estimates on new and existing projects from plans and site visits
  • Perform and prepare service inspections and repair and upgrade estimates
  • Review plans, photos, and specifications for lightning protection and grounding installations
  • Review and develop an understanding of all lightning protection codes

Requirements:

  • Associates degree with two-plus years related experience preferred or the equivalent of training and experience
  • Experience reading blueprints
  • Experience in commercial construction
  • Possess excellent communication skills (oral and written)
  • Pass a criminal background check, drug screen, and MVR
  • Experience in Electronic plan software; Internet software; Project Management software preferred
  • Experience in Bluebeam software a plus
  • Strong background in estimating and sales is preferred
  • Self-motivated

Design Manager

Argyle, TX

Bonded is searching for a new team member to manage our design Team! The right person enjoys being a part of the team and in a fast-paced work, deadline-driven environment. This position focuses managing our AutoCAD program and leads the design team. If this interests you, call us today.

Responsibilities include:

  • Leads the Design Team in organizational health, daily projects, training, development, etc.
  • Communicate directly with Engineers, Architects, etc. as needed.
  • Coordinate project list workload as needed.
  • Directly assist and plan for large project designs, revisions, and as-builts.
  • Collaborate with other departments.
  • Manages the AutoCAD library for changes to details, parts, etc.
  • Final quality review for submittals prior to submitting to our customer.
  • Review monthly design reports.
  • Monitor and support training and development of employees.

Requirements:

  • Strong ability to collaborate with and lead a team.
  • Ability to supervise and engage personnel in varying work environments (in-office and remote).
  • Ability to read construction drawings, details, and specifications.
  • Possess excellent communication (oral & written) and interpersonal skills.
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, Windows, Electronic plans, and Project Management software.
  • Experience in construction industry. Knowledge of lightning protection and grounding standards is a plus.
  • Degree preferred with related experience, or equivalent experience in the construction industry.
